Trinity University’s HHMI Program is funding 5 or more Trinity students this summer in a summer research opportunity. These students are working on interdisciplinary projects, bringing together biology with chemistry, computer science, engineering science, mathematics, physics, or psychology. |

The awards include:
-
A $3,750 stipend that provides support for ten weeks during the summer
-
Free summer housing in Trinity University dormitories
-
One semester hour of free academic credit
-
A supply and travel budget of $1,800
|
What is expected of students:
-
Ten weeks of full-time work dedicated to the project
-
Participation in the weekly HHMI interdisciplinary research meetings
-
A brief written report of the work completed at the end of the summer
-
A poster presentation in the Summer Undergraduate Research Conference
-
It is anticipated that work on the project continues during the academic year
