Because it is clear that the sciences rely heavily on computational power and techniques to do work today and the importance of computers as tools in the sciences is growing, we have developed a minor in Scientific Computation. The minor helps direct students in the sciences to gain a greater understanding of computers and the role they will play in their future scientific work.
