Recent Trinity Students Who Have Worked in the Laser Laboratory

Nathan Jukam worked in the Laser Laboratory during the 1995-96 school year and the summer of 1996. Nathan graduated from Trinity in May 1998 and will begin graduate studies in physics at the University of California, Santa Barbara in the Fall of 1998. Nathan completed a Senior Thesis on numerical simulations of soliton propagation in optical fibers.

Adam Marshall carried out experiments in the Trinity Physics Laser Laboratory during the 1996-97 and 1997-98 school years and the summers of 1996 and 1997. Adam graduated from Trinity in May 1998 and will begin graduate studies in physics at the University of Chicago in the Fall of 1998. Adam is the recipient of a Goldwater Scholarship and a National Science Foundation Graduate Fellowship; he also completed a Senior Honors Thesis based on his research in the Laser Lab.

Lois Hoesley carried out thermal lensing experiments in the Laser Laboratory during the Spring 1998 and Fall 1998 semesters. Lois is a double major in Physics and Business; she will graduate from Trinity in May 2000.

Marci Hendrickson worked in the Laser Laboratory during the summer of 1998. She will graduate from Trinity in May 2000.

Wes Campbell did research in the Laser Lab during the summers of 1998 and 1999. He will be graduating in May 2001.  Wes is the recipient of a Goldwater Scholarship.

Alexis Thompson did research in the Laser Lab during the summer of 1999.   She will be graduating in May 2001.  Alexis is a double major in Physics and Chemistry and is the recipient of a Goldwater Scholarship.  She will complete a Senior Honors Thesis on forced Rayleigh scattering measurements of liquid crystals.

Tim Gilheart did research in the Laser Lab during the summer of 2000.   He will be graduating in May 2002.  Mr. Gilheart is a Trinity Murchison Scholar.

Dustin Regan did research in the Laser Lab during the summer of 2000.   He will be graduating from Trinity in May 2003.
