Human cloning: creating a cell, cell product, or organism that is genetically identical to the person from which it was derived

Stem cell: a cell that upon division replaces its own numbers and also gives rise to cells that differentiate further into one or more specialized types

Reject: to have an immunological reaction against (a transplanted organ or grafted tissue)

Embryo: the stage of a human egg from attachment to the uterine wall until about the eighth week of pregnancy

Alzheimer's disease: a common form of dementia of unknown cause, beginning in late middle age, characterized by progressive memory loss associated with brain damage

Diabetes: disorder characterized by high levels of glucose in the blood
