HOUSING

Trinity University Residence Halls will be made available for MAA PREP workshop participants.  Like all Trinity University facilities, residence halls are fully air-conditioned.  The residence halls feature "suite" arrangements, that is, two sleeping rooms (two beds in each) share a connecting bath (four persons per suite).  Single occupancy, (one person in each sleeping room, two persons per bathroom) will be available.

Linens (sheets, blanket, pillow, and a set of towels) and soap and drinking cups are provided in all rooms.  Towels can be exchanged daily at linen exchange stations located within the residence halls.  Trash may be placed outside the door and will be picked up daily.  Trinity provides telephones with a voice messaging system and free local access in each residence hall room.  Long distance calls can be made by using a long distance calling card.  While all residence hall rooms are wireless, there is also a data port in each room. Computer lounges are available.  Participants will be assigned a login and password upon arrival.

Lounges that are appropriate for evening social events and meetings are located within many of the residence halls.  These spacious lounges are furnished with tables, chairs and televisions.  A Conference Services staff member is on call twenty-four hours a day to assist with any housing problems.

DINING/FOOD SERVICE

ARAMARK Services provides all food service at Trinity University.  Meals may be served in Mabee Dining Hall, our main dining facility, in the Holt Conference Center where the workshop will be held, or in one of several alternative locations.  Meals feature a variety of food, including salad bars, fresh fruit, and vegetarian selections in addition to the main entrees.
