has been selected to receive Trinity University's very first Junior
Faculty Award for Excellence in Teaching and Research. Congratulations,
Carlos!
Arturo Madrid
has been selected as the recipient of the 2002
Tomás Rivera Lifetime Achievement Award, conferred by the
University of California, Riverside. This award honors those who have
made significant contributions to the Chicano/Latino community.
Congratulations, Arturo, for this outstanding honor!
Alan Astro
is delivering a lecture entitled, "Yiddish
Echoes in French Literature," at Wellesley College on
March 5. It is sponsored by the Maison Française.
