Gamma Chi Delta: Where Everybody Knows Your Name

When you go away to college, you search for yourself and for a place to belong. In college, you meet the people who will be your friends for the rest of your life.

When you go Greek, you get the opportunity to meet some really amazing people--some of Trinity's finest. When you choose to go Gamma, you become part of an incredible tradition of sisterhood and friendship.

If you're looking for it, chances are Gammas have it. In Gammas you'll find friendship and fun, scholarship and leadership, campus and community wide events and service projects, and a lifetime of memories and involvement.

What is Rush?
Unlike many other institutions, Trinity has a deferred Rush, meaning rush doesn't start until late September and bids aren't given until early February. We believe this deferment truly allows us to get to know you as friends before knowing you as a sister. Rush is one of the most exciting times of year!
Rush consists of informal rush and formal rush. Informal rush is a time to meet new girls in informal situations. Formal rush consists of formal parties you will be invited to throughout the semester. Each sorority will have a first round rush party, second round rush party, holiday party, and date party. We hope to see you at Gamma rush events!

What is Dirty Rush?

Dirty rush occurs when a sorority member makes a rushee feel uncomfortable by referencing which sorority she should join. It also occurs when a sorority member contacts a rushee during silence, a time when sorority members are not allowed to talk to rushees. Gammas sincerely hope that we never make anyone feel uncomfortable under any circumstances throughout the rush process. Please contact our Rush Chairs or Katie Jundt for more information about dirty rush.

Gammas encourage anyone interested in rush to take the opportunity to attend our rush parties and events, as well as those of other sororities on campus.

Contact Leslie Schornack, the Greek Council Women’s Rush Chair, or the Campus and Community Involvement (CCI) Office for more information about getting your name on the master rush list!

Check back for dates of our formal and informal rush events. We can't wait to meet you!
