Omega Phi History

Omega Phi was founded on September 4, 1979 when Trinity University asked two champion intramural teams to form a fraternity together.  In this way the Otters and AWT merged to form the brotherhood of Omega Phi.

With this background, the crimson-and-gold-clad O-Phis have dominated Trinity University intramurals over the last 25 years. O-Phi has won T.U. intramural championships in these years:

1979-80, 1981-82, 1985-86, 1986-87,

1987-88, 1988-89, 1991-92, 1992-93,

1993-94, 1994-95, 1995-96, 1996-97,

1997-98, 1998-99, 2000-01
