Ronald McDonald House

As of fall 2007, Phi Delta Kappa is associated with a nearby Ronald McDonald House, a charity that provides housing for families with a child in the hospital.  Each week, a group of us goes to do chores for the families, such as mopping and sweeping floors, sanitizing toys, and even helping to decorate for holidays.  Every month we also try to hold an event for the families staying at the house.  Last October we held a movie night with the Kappas, and last November we had a barbeque.  We are planning similar events in the coming months.

Ultimate Frisbee Tournament

In September 2007 we held our first ever ultimate frisbee tournament with Omega Phi to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Charities.  A total of 6 teams participated and we raised $167.  We hope to make this an annual event and hope to see more people get involved in the tournament.  Check out more photos from this event on our "pictures" page.
