Map Network DrivesMapping you network drives will allow you to easily locate the online resources available to you, including a personal space for you to store your files and folders that is backed up every night. This will only take a few minutes. If you experience problems connecting to the server (or are still running Panther OS), see HELP below. 1. Click on the Finder icon at the bottom of the desktop.
2. Now, at the top of the screen, you will see the Finder menu. Select Go and then select Connect to Server.
3. Type afp://131.194.151.78 into the Address box. Click the + button to save the server address in your favorites. Then click Connect.
4. Enter your Trinity Username and Password. Click Connect.
5. The Macpublic volume contains the TigerNet software. The Users volume contains the student personal storage (Y:) folders. The Class volume contains Class folders. One-by-one, select each of those three and click OK.
You now have full access to all of the network drives. You will see an icon on your desktop for each one you selected. However, the Mac does not save these icons after rebooting. If you want to access these drives again after rebooting, you will need to repeat these steps. Since you saved the server address though, you will not have to re-enter it. You will simply select it from the favorites.
In the next section you will Download Microsoft Office .
