Setup Wireless Access
Trinity University provides an 802.11g wireless network for use by Staff, Students and Faculty. There are two wireless networks (TUSecure and TUGuest) available across all of upper and lower campus, including the residence halls. Only students with a laptop and wireless card are asked to complete this section.
Time Required: ~10 Minutes
There are two wireless networks, TUSecure and TUGuest, which both cover the entire campus. Read below to learn the difference between the two. Click the links for directions on setting up access to one or both of the networks.
| TUSecure |
Provides users access to all Trinity network resources and provides wireless encryption. In order to access TU Secure, users must have a PEAP compatible wireless card. For a list of compatible cards and configuration instructions, go to TUSecure Configuration.
(Most users with laptops made in the last several years will have wireless cards compatible with PEAP. If you are able, we strongly recommend using TUSecure as it provides encryption and access to all network resources) |

| TUGuest |
Provides users access to the Internet and Trinity websites only and does not provide wireless encryption. Users do not need to have a PEAP compatible wireless card in order to access TUGuest. To use TUGuest, choose the network from the available list of networks in your wireless control program. We also have documentation at TUGuest Configuration. |
