Map Network Drives1. Click Start --> Run.
2. In the Open box, type \\tucc-tiger\software\studentlogon and click OK.
3. If you see the following window, fill in your user name, preceded by trinity\, and then your password. Check the box next to Remember my password and click OK as shown in the image below.
4. You will see a window with a file called stdt (see image below). Double-click to run it. You will see a black window flash open and close.
5. You now have access to the Class folders on drive N and the Software on drive S. To check that this worked, Click Start --> My Computer to open My Computer. You should see the network drives in the window (see image below). You can then Close this window.
6. Next, you will map the Y drive for your own personal storage up to a maximum of 250MB. You can access this folder from anywhere on campus, and we encourage you to use this space to back up important files. Click Start --> Right-click on My Computer and choose Map Network Drive.
7. Choose Drive Y by clicking the down arrow and selecting Y.
8. Type in the folder: \\Tucc-Tiger\users\username, using your user name. Check "Reconnect at logon" and click "Connect using a different user name."
9. Enter "trinity\" followed by your user name. Enter your password, click OK and then click Finish.
10. Your folder on Y will open (see image below).
11. To check that this worked, Click Start --> My Computer to open My Computer. You should see the icon with your user name in the window (see image below). You can then Close the window.
You now have full access to all of the network drives. Proceed now to Download Microsoft Office. |
