  Final Project : Lighting Design  
 

Read the play you have chosen.
1) Write a 1 page concept paper describing your approach and vision for the lighting. 
Study the ground plan and section of the stage space.
Study the theater space, grid layout, grid height , etc.

2) Draft your Light Plot on the 11"x17" paper provided. Use the lighting  plot drafting style and convention that has been discussed/demonstrated in class and shown in the Backstage Handbook. Include a key and title block. Darken any lines to make make the plot graphic and readable. This MUST be neat, clean, and readable.

3) Create a typed Dimmer Hook-up for the light plot. Include all essential information, especially the use for each light.

3     3 unit Cyc lights.  500 watt lamps
24 2.4 K Dimmers

$160 for gel or gobos.
