Studio 21 Hosts

Ben Haworth - Co-Host

Ben Haworth is a Senior and a Communication major who wants to one day be in the film industry. We haven't had the heart yet to tell Ben meeting Clint Eastwood for 10 seconds does not qualify him as a competent film technician, but alas he tries. Ben loves movies, but he isn't in love with them. Maybe if they returned his phone calls. What Ben really loves is his fiance Alissa, who threatened to kill him if he did not mention her. Clearly he has learned a lot in 4 years. Aside from that Mr. Haworth is a dedicated staff member, an excellent practitioner of hygiene, a wealth of useful information, and, on occasion, a snappy dresser. Oh and he's also Program Manager for Tiger TV.

Katy Boyd - Co-Host

Katy Boyd is a sophomore, and still an undecided major. Born in Oklahoma to British parents, Katy spent her high school years in Asia and now resides in Katy, Texas. She gets very confused when people ask her where she’s from. Described in high school as a sporty nerd, Katy embraces her British side with her love of playing football (aka soccer) and Doctor Who. Aside from spending way too much time on the internet, Katy plays lacrosse at Trinity and enjoys superrad things like lasertag, putt putt golf, bowling, reading, and watching TV with friends.

Hillary Everts

Hillary Everts is a Sophomore Theater and Communications major from Fort Worth, Texas. She is very involved in the Theater department, usually Stage Managing Main Stage Productions and working in the Costume Studio to create the beautiful Garments those silly actors wear. Also on campus, she is a member of the service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega, a part of too many academic societies to keep track of and when not in San Antonio, a Venturing Scout with Boy Scouts of America When not doing theater things/homework/staring lazily at the ceiling, Hillary enjoys jamming out to country music and dancing like the fool she knows she is..

Monica Clifford

Monica Clifford is a freshman History major hailing from Keller, TX. Her roots, however, sit firmly in the Midwestern earth, seeing as she was born in Chicago and raised in Minnesota. She enjoys sewing, reading graphic novels and comics (her favorite is Blankets), disproving the Warren Commission's findings on the Kennedy assassination, eating pull-n-peel Twizzlers, reading her massive Ultimate Biography book, and jamming to assorted music. Her dream dinner party would include Morrissey, Beck, Sam Rockwell, Nick Twisp, John Yossarian, and Jack Bauer. She intends to become a history teacher and recite to little children the names of the wives of Henry VIII. Community, the Smiths, and Spider-Man occupy a large chunk of her heart (approx. 37% cumulatively), but the biggest piece is reserved for the crazy people she calls her family (her best friends are her three ridiculously cool siblings, Natsy, Danny, & Reesa)..

Nico Mesa - "What's New" Host

Nico Mesa is a Senior at Trinity University majoring in Communications. He is as of yet unsure of what he wants to do after graduating but is thinking of going into marketing or advertising. Some of his favorite things are movies, television, reading, music, and art. He fancies himself as an artist but hasn't realized making one piece of "art" with spray paint and stencils does not make him an artist. One thing that we have learned is to not allow Nico to wear a suit during shows because he gets EXTREMELY confident and cocky and was once heard saying that "someone has to knock Ryan Seacrest down a peg and It might as well be me!" Besides being a host of Studio21 for two years he is also Production Manager for TigerTV, Judicial Chair for Greek Council and an all around nice guy.
