Alumni

Trinity graduates who major in German pursue advanced degrees and careers at some of the best-known graduate schools, law schools, and international programs in the country. Recent graduates have gone on to study at Harvard, Berkeley, Stanford, University of North Carolina, George Mason University, University of Texas-Austin, in graduate programs in Berlin and Jena, and to work internationally.

Some activities of our graduates include:

 

                   Elaine Robinson ’09 is studying music at Duke University

 

·        Mary Curley '08 was selected for an internship at ADIDAS by the "German American Chamber of Commerce Transatlantic Program 2008"

 

 

·         Susan Lackey ’07 is worked on a biology internship in Germany during the summer of 2007

 

·         Carlo Schmidt ’06 is studying at Harvard Divinity School

 

·         Bryan Hart ’05 is working on a Master’s Degree at the University of North Carolina’s Trans-Atlantic Program in the Center for European studies

 

·         Anne Hilton ’03 is working towards her Ph.D. in the International Program at the University of Washington. Before that, she worked with the Fulbright commission in Korea as a teacher and then as the Fulbright ETA Program Coordinator in Seoul

 

·         Nicole Endres ’02 completed her Master’s degree in International Commerce & Policy from George Mason University in 2004, and now works for the U.S. Department of Agriculture in their International Trade Policy division

 

·         Laura Samuelson ’02 completed her law degree in Oklahoma, and is now working as Corporate Counsel for O-I Analytical in Texas. Before that she was Assistant Attorney General for the State of Oklahoma

 

·         Clay Allen ’01 is working as Promotions Manager for the Houston Rockets of the NBA, and is preparing to begin law school

 

·         Matthew Beem ’00 completed his M.A. in International Policy Studies at Stanford in 2001, and has been working since then as an international business broker in Brazil

 

·         Julie Koser (Gauldin) ‘99  received a Ph.D. in German Studies at Berkeley and accepted a tenure-track position at the University of Maryland, College Park
