The purpose of this course is to develop skills and knowledge relative to providing instruction, interventions, and leadership in curricular and instructional methods and strategies appropriate for use with individuals who exhibit learning and behavior problems. Issues and trends in the identification, systems, and assessment of students with learning and behavior problems will also be addressed. This course includes a 20-hour field experience, where emphasis is placed on learning about strategies and specialized methods of instructing students with learning and behavior differences.
