Students completing the Discovery in Computer Science will finish with an introduction to the field and a knowledge of computational problem solving. Depending on the courses selected, they will also have a certain depth of knowledge in either theoretical aspects of the field, or a particular application area.

Requirements

Completion of CSCI 1320 and at least six credit hours in any courses numbered CSCI-1321 or higher as long as they have a prerequisite.

Additional Information

  • A student must complete at least one  Discovery to qualify for graduation

  • Courses in the Discovery must be taken at Trinity University.
  • Students can also fulfill the Discovery requirement by completing a second major or a minor.
