Note: San Antonio Livestock Exposition, Inc. (S.A.L.E) is strictly a donor and does not participate in the selection of scholarship applicants.
Students are nominated from each San Antonio-area high school, and winners are granted scholarships based on academic standing. Four students are nominated from each San Antonio-area high school.
Eligibility
Who is eligible:
- Undergraduate juniors or seniors
- Transfer juniors and seniors
Who is not eligible:
First-year or graduate students
Additional Requirements
- Must be a Texas resident
- Graduated from a Texas high school
- Majoring in Biology, Biochemistry, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Geosciences, Engineering Sciences, or are completing a degree within the School of Business in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Marketing

Selection Criteria
- Academic scholarships recipients are selected without regard to income.
Renewal Information
One-time scholarship.
Students may be considered again based on the eligibility criteria.
Additional Details
- Scholarships are applied toward fall and spring tuition only, and are not available for summer study.
- Scholarships do not require repayment.
