• By morning and night, Jeanna Goodrich Balreira is a mom of two redheaded boys, and by day she's the assistant vice president for Strategic Communications and Marketing at Trinity University in San Antonio, her undergraduate alma mater. As AVP, Jeanna oversees the SCM team while setting vision and developing strategy for Trinity's internal and external communication and marketing initiatives. You may also catch her manning a Tiger Network video camera, her not-so-secret side passion.

Jeanna is pursuing her PhD in technical communication and rhetoric from Texas Tech University, where she earned her MA in 2019. She's highly interested in authenticity in marketing (especially in higher ed), the importance of internal communication in brand reputation and identity, and target-audience-based technical communication in K-12 and higher ed.

At Trinity, she has taught in the Department of Communication and serves on the faculty advisory board for the Arts, Letters, and Enterprise program. In her spare time, she sings with her church choir and with the Beethoven Damenchor; fishes with her family in Rockport; tends a fledgling urban vegetable garden; and cheers on any and every Brazilian soccer team.
