Scott C. Neale is an internationally recognized, award winning Scenic Designer and Theming Consultant. Scott holds an MFA in Scenic Design from Northwestern University and a BFA in Scenic Design and Scenic Painting from the Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University.
He has been Resident Scenic Designer for Albany Park Theater Project in Chicago since 2006 and continues to design theatrical sets, theme park attractions, exhibits and events, specializing in interactive immersive environments around the country and world, spanning to 4 continents.
In theatre, he has designed for Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Yale Baroque Opera, Shakespeare Festival St. Louis, Chicago Children's Choir, Steppenwolf Theatre Company (Chicago, Off Broadway, and the Galway Theatre Festival), Lookingglass Theatre Company, The Great River Shakespeare Festival, Upstream Theater and various others.
In the theme park and outdoor experiential industries, he has designed for Feld Entertainment, Busch Gardens Tampa and Williamsburg, SeaWorld Orlando, SanDiego and San Antonio, Aquatica Orlando, Tivoli Gardens Copenhagen, the St. Louis Zoo, Arabia Mountain National Heritage Area, Buckhead Heritage Society, Nachusa Grasslands Nature Conservancy, Auburn Avenue Streetscape mural design, Missouri Botanical Gardens.
He has designed promotional and experiential events for world renown wedding designer, Colin Cowie, HBO, AMC, NBC, FOX, and the National Geographic Channel.
Scott is proud member of United Scenic Artists Local 829, Themed Entertainment Association, and United States Institute of Theatre Technology. He is also a credited contributor to the collegiate textbook Scene Design and Stage Lighting, 9th and 10th Editions (Parker, Wolf & Block : 9th and 10th Editions © Wadsworth 2009, 2013)
In addition to Scenic Design, Scott is a visual artist, sculptor, graphic designer, illustrator, art photographer, and a professional blues harmonica player.
