COVID-19 update from Trinity University
Important COVID Update : May 5, 2022
Important information for the Trinity Community

Dear Campus Community,

As the very important weeks of final exams and commencement approach, we are providing you with a COVID-19 update in order that you may make educated decisions regarding COVID-protective measures.  We are experiencing an increase in campus transmission, with our 7-day rolling count of new cases now at 30 (double the number from last week).

All persons who are ill should call the COVID Health Team (210-999-8235) to receive a rapid COVID-19 test.  Please don’t assume your symptoms are allergies!  Mild congestion, sore throat, and fatigue are the most common presenting symptoms of COVID-19.  Please don’t hesitate to come get tested.

The best way to protect yourself from infection is to be up to date with your COVID vaccinations.  Additionally, wearing a well fitted and  high quality mask when indoors can provide excellent protection to the wearer.

Our on-campus and Bexar county resources are not currently strained therefore we do not plan to escalate our indicator level to Yellow or reinstate mandatory indoor-masking.

As always, we hope that you have a healthy and happy end to your semester,
Trinity University COVID Response Team
