WEATHER ALERT: Campus Closure, Remote Classes Friday
Campus offices and buildings will remain closed and all classes will be conducted remotely Friday, Feb. 4.

Icy conditions are forecasted to continue overnight and into the day tomorrow. As such and out of an abundance of caution, campus offices and buildings will remain closed Friday, Feb. 4. All Friday classes will be conducted remotely, with the understanding that power outages may impact the ability of individual faculty or students to participate. Faculty will be sharing remote plans with their students.

Essential personnel will be present tomorrow to support students and critical activities. This includes TUPD, Facilities Services, and Aramark, with Mabee Dining Hall open and available. Staff members who are able to work remotely should plan to do so.  If remote work is not possible, staff should enter Administrative Leave time for their normal work hours that fall during the time campus is closed.

Once again, a reminder that stairs and walkways across campus can become icy, particularly those that are elevated. Facilities team members are salting these areas once precipitation ceases, but those living and working on campus should limit activity and proceed with caution.

Conditions are predicted to improve significantly on Saturday.  Weekend campus events, including Trinity Tower Scholars Day, are expected to proceed as scheduled.  If there is any additional change, you will be notified in advance.

We urge everyone to stay warm and stay home as much as possible. If anyone on campus has issues or concerns, please contact your RA or Residential Life at 210-999-7219 or Facilities at 210-999-8413. After hours or in an emergency, please contact TUPD at 210-999-7070.

Wishing everyone a safe, warm end to the week.
