KRTU Celebrates our Leadership Members and 20 Years of Jazz Programming on 91.7 FM
Unveiling of the 20th Anniversary of Jazz commemorative poster

On April 30, KRTU joined several of our Leadership Members at Liberty Bar for brunch and to celebrate another year of excellence on air and in our community. We were so happy to be able to reunite as a community with our major donors, to thank them for their generosity and commitment to KRTU, and to celebrate National Jazz Appreciation Day. Their leadership and advocacy make us stronger as a station and as a learning lab for Trinity students.

During the event, Mayor Ron Nirenberg, alongside graphic designer and KRTU host J.C. Pagan, unveiled the 20th Anniversary of Jazz commemorative poster, showcasing the many years of jazz programming on 91.7 FM. Each attendee received a poster signed and editioned by J.C. The poster is also available as a KRTU premium for members joining or renewing at the $240+ level.

As a staff and community of music lovers, we are excited about the future of KRTU, and with listener support and advocacy, we will continue to enrich the cultural landscape of San Antonio with community-focused programs and partnerships. We are looking forward to presenting more enriching experiences throughout the year, including a KRTU 20th Anniversary Concert happening later this fall!
