The name says it all. If you’ve ever dined at Skyline, you know that this is a space with some of the best views of downtown. Skyline is also where students, faculty, staff, alumni, and our community can come to get that “restaurant feel” on a University campus.
In early Fall, Skyline Bistro, renamed Skyline, will make its debut as a premier dining venue that was intentionally redesigned with three goals in mind. 1) Create a space that encourages dialogue and collaboration; 2) More fully utilize the space for both dining and informal gatherings; and 3) Provide greater flexibility for guests with lounge and formal seating and by bringing back the highly requested buffet. Daily menus will celebrate international and comfort classics, rotating to bring variety and authentic recipes to the campus community.
“We are excited to reopen Skyline as an elevated dining venue, including a daily lounge for faculty and staff to gather as a community each morning with refreshments,” said Diana Heeren, associate vice president for Finance. “The team really let the light into this space and we know this will become a destination for students, faculty, and staff.”

Skyline is configured with a combination of dining tables and chairs, lounge seating, and bar height tables and barstools. Indoor dining capacity is 94, with lounge furniture adding informal seating for an additional 16 guests. The balcony offers unobstructed views of downtown with seating for 24 guests.
“Skyline has long been a place to get together,” said Christina Castillo, assistant director: Parent Communication & Student Conduct. “With this re-opening, we believe our community will enjoy the different opportunities to be together whether through a morning social, lunch buffet, or faculty lounge.”
Skyline will be open for scheduled food service Monday through Friday as follows:
- Morning Social, 8:00am-11:00am
- Lunch Buffet, 11:00am-2:00pm
- Faculty Lounge, 2:00pm-4:00pm
To make Skyline even more uniquely Trinity, the pattern design was created by Olivia Bowness ’23. Skyline is a hallmark venue on Trinity’s campus and we look forward to welcoming you to this reimagined space.
Skyline will be available for catered events Monday-Friday after 4pm and on weekends. Reservation requests will be accepted in T-Space in early September. Catering orders may be placed using the Trinity Dining website.
