It’s one of our favorite places on campus—and it’s getting lit! Laurie Auditorium will be undergoing a major capital project that involves a complete conversion of the interior lighting system to LED. This renovation means that Laurie Auditorium will be offline and unavailable for events during the month of August 2023.
While this may be a considerable inconvenience to campus partners, the Laurie team wanted to provide ample notice of this important project. Note that Opening Convocation and specific orientation events taking place August 17-19 will not be affected and will remain in Laurie Auditorium. Other events that would have been scheduled in Laurie in August will need to find a new home. Visit tspace.trinity.edu to explore other event location resources.
The Auditorium will also undergo an additional upgrade in January 2024 in order to enhance the stage system. The Laurie team has yet to determine a specific timetable, but it will be a smaller project that is anticipated to only take 2-3 weeks.
