• Alex joined Trinity as a faculty member in 2011. She is the library liaison to the departments of Sociology & Anthropology, Political Science, Psychology, Economics, and Urban Studies. Her favorite part of her job at Trinity is getting to work closely with students to help them ask questions, find and evaluate information, practice help-seeking behaviors, and grow as self-aware adults who value learning. In addition to teaching information literacy sessions, Alex created the academic success for student-athletes course, participated in developing the “Starting Strong” QEP, taught Summer Bridge for first-generation and Pell-Grant-eligible students, and advises first-year students. Alex is a native New Yorker who lives in San Antonio with her husband and their two daughters.
