Stephen Stewart is an assistant professor of accounting. Prior to obtaining his Ph.D. at Texas A&M University, Stephen worked as a tax senior associate for Ernst & Young’s Financial Service Office in Los Angeles, CA. His research interests include tax avoidance, state taxes, and innovation. Additionally, he holds a CPA license in the state of California. Outside of research and teaching, Stephen enjoys reading, puzzles, and everything escape rooms.
