  • Sheryl Tynes, Ph.D., serves as the chief administrative officer for all areas of student success, including academic support, counseling, health services and disability services, as well as student services, including residential life and student involvement. A strong advocate for student success, Tynes is also professor of Sociology with expertise in social welfare, social security, and poverty programs. She regularly teaches a section for the first-year experience and is actively involved in Trinity’s “Allies” program to support first-generation and Pell-eligible students.
