Trinity University has been named in The Best 390 Colleges: 2025 Edition by The Princeton Review. In addition to Trinity’s continued placement on lists including “Colleges that Create Futures” and “Best Southwest,” this year Trinity ranked among all universities in the nation No. 9 for Best Science Lab Facilities, No. 12 for Best Student Support and Counseling Services, and No. 23 for Best Health Services. These rankings underscore Trinity’s placement at No. 49 on the Top 50 Best Value Colleges (Private Schools) list, and on the list of Best Value Colleges overall. Also new for 2025 is Trinity’s inclusion on the “Green Colleges” list.
These recognitions from The Princeton Review emphasize Trinity’s commitment to excellence and highlight the quality of the Trinity experience from the perspective of our Tigers.
For students who study STEM at Trinity, it may not come as a surprise that Trinity ranks in the top 10 nationally for its facilities, especially in the classrooms and laboratories of the newly named D. R. Semmes School of Science. Talking to Trinity about his undergraduate research experience this summer, Nicholas Cipolla ’25 said, “I have control over the experiments that I'm running. I get a say in what kind of science we do, in how to move the project forward. That really is different than at other universities, where you may be working under a graduate student or under a postdoc.”
And for students who have taken advantage of Trinity’s integrated counseling and health services, national recognition for this type of student support further supports their experiences. “What brought me to Trinity was the support systems we have here,” Ayanna Blake ’25 told Trinity last year. “My first semester here was a little rocky, but with the help of my professors and on-campus therapists, I was able to come back successful and excel.”
Each year, The Princeton Review recognizes the nation’s top universities based on insights from 165,000 college students nationwide. The Princeton Review surveys college students from all of the top 390 schools that appear in the book, asking questions about various facets of the college experience, including their school's academics and administration, life at their college, and their fellow students. The Princeton Review then tallies the answers to their questions and decides which colleges will be ranked on certain lists.
As Trinity continues to invest in our community and resources, we remain committed to providing an enriching and supportive environment that empowers every student to excel and thrive.
