Our orientation programs aim to provide you and those who support you with programs and services that will assist you in a successful academic, social, and personal transition to, and through, the University.

Fall Orientation and Events

August New Tiger Orientation (NTO)

Audience: First-Year students, International students, Parents and Families, Transfer students 
Date: August 21-23, 2026
Location: On Campus

It's time to move in and get settled in as a new Tiger! August New Tiger Orientation (NTO) for new students and families include move-in, information sessions, a picnic, and more!

International Student Orientation (ISO)

Audience: First-Year students, International students
Date: August 18 - 20, 2026
Location: On Campus

ISO welcomes new Tigers from around the world and their families to Trinity and prepares them for the next few years of their lives living and studying in San Antonio.

Summer Orientation and Events

Tiger Takeoff

Audience: First-Year students, International students, Parents and Families, Transfer students 
Date: Three sessions in June 2026
Location: On Campus

Tiger Takeoff is a two-day summer orientation for all new students and families to get acclimated to life as a Trinity Tiger. Students will get to stay in one of the residence hall rooms, build community with their peers, and be informed about campus resources and support services.

Summer Send-Offs

Audience: First-Year students, Parents and Families, Transfer students 
Date: Session information and dates coming soon
Location: Across the U.S.

Mingle with members of the Trinity community and other incoming families and students. Summer Send-Offs are held around the country, usually at the homes of current Tiger parents, to welcome families into the Trinity community.

Spring Orientation and Events

Spring New Tiger Orientation (SNTO)

Audience: First-Year students, International students, Transfer students 
Date: January 11-13, 2026
Location: On Campus

Students who begin studying at Trinity in the spring semester have a special welcome to campus to learn all about campus life and resources.
