Who We Are

The Student Managed Fund (SMF) gives selected Trinity students the opportunity to manage real money in financial markets, bridging the gap between financial theory and real-world application. The purpose of the fund is to enrich the education of business students through a “hands-on” approach of managing a multi-million dollar portfolio.

The Student Managed Fund was founded 1998 and was started with $500,000 of the Trinity University Endowment. We have since grown to manage over $15 million of the University’s endowment.
