As the Ready. Set. Rise. Strategic Plan concludes year one of its three-year plan, action item 3.4, Digital Campus Management (DCM), is ready for initial launch. This action item was established to adopt an integrated framework for maturing, optimizing, and sustaining the digital infrastructure created through Trinity’s Digital Transformation (DX) program, which concluded in 2025.
DCM extends the “Reimagining Spaces & Connections” pillar from the Strategic Plan into the digital environment by positioning enterprise systems as a cohesive “digital campus” that supports and enhances the daily experiences of faculty, staff, and students.
Trinity’s Digital Campus Management is a stewardship framework with four focus areas: cybersecurity, digital experience, data governance, and enterprise applications.
“DCM represents both a conceptual shift and an operational strategy. We’re reframing enterprise systems as an interconnected campus ecosystem, rather than isolated technical tools,” said Ben Lim, Trinity's Chief Information Officer. “This ecosystem requires intentional design, governance, and continuous improvement. One improvement we’ve already established is the Technology Solutions Intake Form and process, which streamlines questions and enhances visibility into the status of requests.”
This announcement marks the first public-facing rollout of DCM and is expected to yield practical insights into adoption, communication, and operational effectiveness.
Engage with DCM
- Explore the DCM project website to learn more about DCM, submit technology requests, view the committee members list, and provide feedback to any member of the DCM team.
- Provide feedback at any point, whether it is during the technology intake request process or an informal interaction with a focus area member. Feedback gathered during this period will be used by the team to determine how to adjust the subsequent rollout.
- Submit a technology solution request through the intake form.
Digital Campus Management reflects a deliberate effort to ensure that Trinity’s post-DX digital environment is governed strategically, implemented thoughtfully, and sustained effectively. The work completed to date demonstrates strong momentum in building the structures, knowledge, and shared ownership necessary for long-term success.
The next phase will be critical in validating the framework through broader campus engagement and in preparing DCM to become an enduring operational model for digital campus stewardship.
