Serving as Advisors and Ambassadors

The board meets twice each academic year, engaging with university leadership, students, and faculty while serving as a sounding board to the president and senior leaders. Members share professional expertise and strategic insight, foster mentorship and career connections for students, and support special projects that strengthen Trinity and the San Antonio community.

Composed of 36 members serving staggered terms, the board reflects a broad range of class years, professions, and geographic regions, with at least 75% of members being Trinity alumni.

Special Projects

Board of Visitors special projects connect ideas to action—supporting students, strengthening programs, and advancing initiatives that enhance academic experiences, expand opportunities, and deepen Trinity’s impact on campus and in the community.

Board Nominations

Individuals interested in serving on the Board of Visitors may email Mike Bacon ’89, vice president for Alumni Relations and Development.
