Overview

Trinity’s German studies program offers intensive language training and a comprehensive study of German literature, art, culture, politics, and ideas. German Studies majors become fluent in the language and can earn credit toward the major in English-language courses on German topics offered in art history, music, philosophy, political science, and theater.

Honors Programs

Students can apply for the honors program within the department an can join the Delta Phi Alpha, the National German Honor Society.

Study Abroad

Studying abroad in Germany, the world’s fourth largest economy, is made easy by Trinity’s close connections to programs in Berlin and Freiberg.

Student Organizations

The German Club offers students a fun and friendly atmosphere to practice speaking German and join in cultural events on campus and in San Antonio.
