About the Mathematics Department
Trinity's Mathematics department blends pure and applied study, covering everything from algebra and analysis to statistics and financial mathematics. Tigers build strong analytical and problem-solving skills through a flexible curriculum, interdisciplinary connections, and a capstone Majors' Seminar, with plenty of research and internship opportunities along the way.
Take on the challenge
I loved the way math made me think. It requires hours of logical thinking and is very applicable to most social science questions. After taking enough mathematics classes, I decided, though I struggled with it, to major in it because I really loved the challenge.
