Description
An introductory survey of the basic theories, research, and applications aimed at understanding and improving communication across racial, ethnic, religious, and cultural differences. It focuses on local, national, and global contexts with attention to the challenges created by identity, language, and nonverbal codes in achieving mutual understanding. (Also listed as HCOM 3372.)
