Description
This course combines a study of power and politics within U.S. city and municipal structures, and engages students as consultants to the Mayor of San Antonio to develop potential solutions and action strategies for some of the city's thorniest problems. Stemming from an initial problem-solving challenge posed by San Antonio's mayor, students will then engage in a semester-long learning and research initiative culminating in a presentation of an action plan to the Mayor.
