Description
This course introduces alternative investments that have lower levels of liquidity, transparency and disclosure (vs. instruments such as stocks and bonds), but that are becoming increasingly important in the investment universe. The course covers types of alternative investments and their characteristics. It includes real estate valuation and investments, private equity investments, introduction to venture capital, and other alternative investments and funds. (Offered every Spring.)
