Description
This course will survey the theories, practices and policies on sustainability in finance and investments. The course will illustrate the principles of corporate sustainability while highlighting the challenges faced by practitioners in large corporate entities today. We will seek to develop in students the ability to recognize and assess sustainability risks and opportunities in the business world. We will explore the ways in which the tools of finance can be used to address environmental challenges and how market mechanisms can be used to ensure long-term environmental and social goals.
