• Aisha Woods (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor with a doctorate in Counseling Psychology. A native of San Antonio, Dr. Woods lived abroad during her active duty years in the United States Air Force. Dr. Woods identifies as a Black American, disabled veteran, and ciswoman. Her experience as a first generation, low-income college student led to her passion to support marginalized populations in higher education. Like each of our counselors, she assists students with the most common reasons they seek counseling: sadness/depression, anxiety/stress, and interpersonal concerns. Her specialty areas include Black Americans and mental health, racial microaggressions, the experience of people of color in higher education, and the clergy and mental health.
