• Claudia Rodríguez Kypuros (she/her) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Supervisor. Dr. Kypuros is from Eagle Pass, a city located in southwest Texas that shares a border with the city of Piedras Negras, Coahuila. Dr. Kypuros identifies as Latina, Brown, and second-generation Mexican American. Her early experiences of living on the Texas/Mexico border continues to inspire her interest in cultural identity development. Like each of our counselors, she assists students with the most common reasons they seek counseling: sadness/depression, anxiety/stress, and interpersonal concerns. Her specialty areas include cultural identity development, relational knowledge, college sex behavior, and acculturation stress.
