• Ms. Heeren is currently the Associate Vice President for Finance at Trinity University in San Antonio. She is responsible for the university’s $170 million operating budget and long-range financial planning. She leads a diverse team of experienced professionals for the following functions: Business Office, Budget and Financial Planning, Treasury Management, and Conferences & Special Programs.
    She directly oversees outsourced vendor relationships for dining, bookstore, internal audit, student laundry, and vending. She promotes a culture of innovative thinking, continuous improvement, and superior customer service.

    Prior to joining Trinity in April 2017, Diana was the Assistant Vice President for Finance at Susquehanna University where she was a two-time recipient of the school’s “Whatever It Takes” award, recognizing employees who go above and beyond their regular duties to make a difference for students. A native of Sinnamahoning, Pennsylvania, she received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Elizabethtown College in 1996, and served as Controller at her alma mater until 2004.

    Diana is a member of NACUBO (National Association of College and University Business Officers), AICPA (American Institute of CPAs), and NACAS (National Association of College Auxiliary Services). She and her husband, Cornelius, live in San Antonio and enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors.
