• Elizabeth (Liz) Murillo serves as the Assistant Program Manager for Events for the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Liz is responsible for connecting student entrepreneurs to the San Antonio innovation ecosystem through interdisciplinary programming. She manages all events in the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She leads programs such as the Louis H. Stumberg Venture Competition, events in the Trinity Accelerator and the inaugural StartHER Networking program, amongst others. She has a background in administration, event management and advancing philanthropic efforts for a local nonprofit organization. 

    Originally from California, Liz has now called San Antonio home for more than a decade. She is a first generation graduate and received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from Texas A&M - San Antonio. Liz is an experienced event planner who has coordinated galas, an ability-friendly baseball clinic as well as international events. 

    Liz looks forward to supporting students in their Entrepreneurial journey and advancing the Center’s efforts to broaden engagement in underrepresented groups in innovation and entrepreneurship (I&E).
