Year I Joined the Trinity Office of Admissions: 2007
Favorite College Course: How to pick one? Sentimentalism - We studied predominantly female authors of 19th Century American Literature. Great books, one of my favorite professors, and a small group of outspoken students.
Students I Work With: Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington D.C., West Virginia, Africa, Asia (East, Central, and South East), Canada, Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, Oceania, and International Students studying in the U.S.
Favorite Trinity Experience: The Tower Climb - both times around. At Trinity, students climb the tower as part of New Student Orientation and then once again during Senior Disorientation. As a first-year, it was a fun experience with new friends, a great view, and I met people from all over the world on the spiral staircase. As a senior, I had the chance to sign a brick, chat with old friends, and see the amazing view one more time!
One Thing I Love About San Antonio: The food! I love discovering new restaurants and exploring different areas of the city. There is always a new "hole-in-the-wall" to uncover or intriguing cuisine to try.
Best College Application Advice: Make sure your essay is something you really care about. You only have one essay to write, so make sure it is about you and tells me something no one else but you could share. And a little spell check never hurts either...
