• Robert F. Scherer has served as a professor of management and as an academic administrator for over twenty-five years. Bob’s career in higher education has included assignments as business school dean and interim dean in both private liberal arts universities and comprehensive public universities. Prior to his career in higher education he held management positions in the insurance and consumer publishing industries.

Received full stipend and living expenses in addition to Wright State University Professional Development Leave (100% funded) for nine months (1998 - 1999).

    • Member, HOME, Inc. Board of Trustees, Yellow Springs, Ohio. Elected to the board of this nonprofit community development corporation whose mission is to build homes for families with low and moderate incomes. Elected Treasurer (August 2000 - July 2002).
    • Member, Greene Metropolitan Housing Authority (GMHA) Board of Commissioners, Xenia, Ohio. Appointed by Greene County Common Pleas Court. GMHA has built and manages over 500 county housing units; funding received through U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to administer Section 8, low rent, and other housing programs (1993 - 1999).
