About
The Campbell and Eloise Smith Music Building is home to the Music Department, as well as the Ruth Taylor Recital Hall and is named for former Trinity Professor Campbell Smith. The Smith Music Building is a wing of what is commonly known on campus as the Dicke Smith Building and is part of the Ruth Taylor Fine Arts Center.

Hours of operation
Monday-Friday: 7 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sunday: Noon - 10 p.m.
General Parking
Parking is available in Parking Lot M, located on Stadium Drive. There is a ramp from Parking Lot M that follows around the Ruth Taylor Recital Hall to the main entrance of the Ruth Taylor Fine Arts lobby. Additional parking is available in the outdoor parking lot by the Dicke Smith Music and Art Building, just east of the Ruth Taylor Theater Building.
Visitor Parking
There is designated visitor parking available on the Laurie Auditorium Orange Level and Lot B and at the Alamo Stadium.
Accessibility Accommodations
Parking
Laurie Auditorium Parking Garage has elevators with Braille signage and has accessible parking spaces available on all levels.
Elevators
There are two elevators available, one located near Laurie Auditorium, one in the Dicke Smith Building all elevators have braille signage.
Seating and Listening Devices
Reserved wheelchair and accessible seating in all the venues. Assisted listening devices are available for events at the box office.
Entrances
There are two accessible entrances to the Smith Music Building. The main entrance on the south side of the building with a ramp into the front lobby and one at leading from Laurie Auditorium, which has a ramp with direct access to the Dicke Art Building and the Campbell Music Building. There is an additional ramp located in Parking Lot M that follows the Ruth Taylor Recital Hall around to the main entrance lobby.
