• Sarah is a native of San Antonio, and as such, she is actively engaged in the needs of her community. She earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and a Masters of Arts in Bicultural Studies and from The University of Texas at San Antonio. As a advocate for underserved students and communities in the San Antonio area for over 10 years, she sees the need for collaboration among local and national college access organizations to further a college going culture in San Antonio. Since 2014, she has served as the Trinity University College Advising Corps Project Director where she supervises and manages 17 near-peer college advisers in 16 high schools, serving over 6,000 area high school students. Sarah was a first generation student in the same public school system her advisers serve.
