Oaktoberfest Block Party on Oakmont
This year’s Block Party transformed Oakmont into Oaktoberfest, a Bavarian-inspired celebration filled with food, games, music, and tradition. Oaktoberfest began with the tapping of the keg by First Gentleman Trey Beasley and featured live German music from the 50-piece Beethoven Männerchor Concert Band. Alumni feasted on traditional Oktoberfest foods and decadent desserts, and they even had the chance to test their strength with Masskrugstemmen, a Bavarian stein-holding contest. Reunion alumni took their class photos and celebrated the night away under the bright Block Party lights. Prost to great memories, old and new!
President’s All Alumni Reception
Alumni mixed and mingled in the Center for the Sciences and Innovation Cube before Paul Hensley ’87, president of the Trinity University Alumni Association Board, presented President Vanessa B. Beasley, Ph.D., with a check for $1,263,034.13 on behalf of the reunion classes. The Class of 1985 collected the largest class-giving total, and the Class of 1995 had the largest number of attendees and the highest percentage of class members who gave a gift. President Beasley sincerely thanked the reunion classes for their collective support and gave a toast in their honor.
Alumni Awards Ceremony
Trinity alumni, students, faculty, and staff came together on Friday night to honor nine Alumni Award recipients. The Alumni Awards Ceremony showcased how these incredible alumni are representing their alma mater in extraordinary ways through their remarkable careers and generous service to the University and their communities. Nominations for the 2026 Alumni Awards are open through December 31, 2025.
Soccer Soiree
Held in conjunction with parents’ weekend for the Trinity soccer teams, the Soccer Soiree saw Paul McGinlay Field buzzing with excitement as the men’s and women’s teams took on Rhodes College. The women led the way with a 1-0 victory, and the men followed suit, roaring to a 1-0 win. The Class of 2020 enjoyed the action from a specially designated area as part of its pre-reunion celebration, and alumni from Trinity’s Sport in England program were recognized on the field.
Friday Fiesta and Trinity Market
Renovated this past spring, the Coates Esplanade took Friday Fiesta to the next level with its improved accessibility, seating, lighting, WiFi, and sound systems. Surrounded by lively entertainment, festive food, and refreshing drinks, alumni met faculty, current student leaders, and select Trinity departments and learned more about what Trinity is like TUday. Nearby on the Coates Plaza, Tigers browsed the creative creations on display from alumni, students, faculty, and staff at the Trinity Market.
Tiger Football Tailgate and Affinity Picnic
Tiger Pride filled Prassel Lawn, the Multi-Sport Stadium, and the Lynd-Gardner Hospitality Suite for the Tiger Football Tailgate and Affinity Picnic, sponsored by the Bengal Lancer Alumni Foundation. Live music by Bengal Lancer alumnus Cody Coggins ’09 and band Havoc Wagon, plus tailgate food and drinks, energized alumni and their families as they reconnected with affinity groups. The celebration continued on the field as the Trinity Tigers prevailed over the Centre College Colonels by a score of 19-14.
Alumni College: Creative Classrooms
Classes with no exams or textbooks? That’s right! Alumni College offered the chance to enroll in three different creative classrooms, each of which quickly filled to capacity and had waitlists. Campus Rec taught the basics of pickleball with an introductory clinic, the Swing Bums led a delightful swing-dancing lesson, and art faculty helped alumni put their creativity to canvas in the art studio.
Talk With a Tiger
Alumni Career Engagement (ACE), in collaboration with Trinity student organizations and special interest programs, welcomed 14 alumni volunteers to share their career experiences at this curated mixer, allowing them to connect with more than 50 students and peers to discuss lessons learned after graduating from Trinity.
Save the date: Alumni Weekend 2026 will be October 15-18!
