Alumni Weekend Promises Twice the Fun in '21
In-person and virtual options open a world of engagement for alumni and their families

We're gearing up for Twice the Fun in ’21 at Alumni Weekend! Not only are we excited to gather together again with all alumni and their families, we’re celebrating alumni in their 2020 and 2021 reunion years! A year without Alumni Weekend is not one for the memory books, so we're making up for lost time with family-friendly festivities featuring in-person and virtual events for every interest and tradition spanning generations.

Mark your calendars, fill up your tanks, or reserve your home-office computer for October 21-24, 2021. There is something for everyone, no matter your class year! Festivities kick off Thursday evening, honoring HCADAA with an award ceremony celebration and Trinity faculty and staff alumni with an on-campus reception.

Friday brings chances to re-engage with everything you love about being a lifelong learner (except for those 8:30 classes). From “Classes without Quizzes” on relevant and creative topics to “Fiesta with the Faculty” and saying “Hello” to those mentors who made a profound impact on your life, spend the day Friday back in the saddle—It might just help you quell those “show up late for a test in a class I forgot to attend all semester” nightmares, too!

Friday and Saturday are also days for traditions old and new. Take a campus tour to explore Trinity’s National Historic District and catch a glimpse of new buildings designed for a 21st century liberal arts education. Applaud fellow alumni award winners for their dedication to campus and community service. Cheer on Tiger athletics on the fields and on Tiger Network and on Tiger Network, and join your reunion class for receptions and revelry on and off campus. Saturday evening, hop over to the highly anticipated Block Party to connect with generations of Tigers from across decades.

Sunday brings chances to slow down and reconnect with the friends and memories you cherish. Round out your weekend reflecting on your time at Trinity and the experiences that helped you build a life of meaning and purpose. Join an affinity brunch, enjoy the beauty of our campus with your family, or take time to rest in the Chapel gardens.

“After conducting more than a dozen discussions with reunion leaders, surveying the alumni population, and receiving input from the Alumni Association Board, we are planning an incredible experience for you to gather and reconnect. There will be something for everyone!" says Ryan Finnelly, senior director for Alumni Relations. “Ever aware of the pandemic, we are working regularly with the University’s Nerve Center to be mindful of your safety and the safety of our students who call Trinity home.”

Due to ever-changing circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic and concerns about the Delta variant, the Office of Alumni Relations is actively working to maintain the highest safety standards and create the best experience for both in-person and virtual attendees. Above all, we can’t wait to see you—on campus or online—for Alumni Weekend 2021!
