Students on stage in orchestra and choir performing for Christmas Concert
Here We Are As in Olden Days
This year’s holiday festivities will gather the community once more

Trinity University is excited to announce and celebrate its weekend of holiday festivities. This year, the University is grateful for the opportunity to give once again its gift of holiday cheer to the local San Antonio community and general public, the Christmas concert. Later that weekend, Trinity faculty, staff, students, and their family members are invited and welcome to attend Vespers and Christmas on Oakmont. For those who can’t make it in person, live streaming will be available for the Christmas concert and Vespers through Tiger Network

Christmas Concert

Friday, Dec. 2 at 7:30 p.m.

Laurie Auditorium

Live streamed on Tiger Network

Trinity student musicians will return to the stage to perform the University’s 28th annual Christmas concert. The combined Trinity choirs, Trinity Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and Handbell Ensemble will perform at this year’s concert. The Trinity community as well as the general public are welcome to attend.

The event is free, and tickets are not required.

Vespers

Sunday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m.

Margarite Parker Chapel

Live streamed on Tiger Network

The Sunday following the Christmas Concert, Trinity faculty, staff, students, and their family members are invited to gather in the Margarite Parker Chapel for an annual Christmas service. The 1925 Mirage contains the first mention of the Christmas Vespers service, making the candlelit tradition nearly a century old.

The event is free, and tickets are not required.

Christmas on Oakmont

Sunday, Dec. 4, immediately following Vespers

Oakmont Court

After Vespers, the Trinity community is invited to descend upon Oakmont Court, where the University president and leadership will greet faculty, staff, and students in front of their homes. A tradition that dates back at least to the 1970s, Christmas on Oakmont is a chance for Tigers to roam house to house while enjoying tasty treats, festive music, and good friends along the way.

For 150 years, Trinity University has transformed challenge into boundless opportunity. Join the force in motion at www.trinity.edu.
